Costa Maragos

Costa Maragos will be presenting a keynote speech on Making Your Story Matter & Getting it to the Media. You will learn how to find interesting stories about your company and how to get in front of the right reporters, producers and editors. 

Costa Maragos is the Spokesperson and Community Affairs Advisor at the University of Regina. Costa's job is to “simply tell the U of R story.” The U of R position allows Costa to play reporter by writing captivating stories on people and events that happen on and off campus. He captures the media's attention with his story ideas as they appear in the mainstream media on a regular basis, giving the U of R unprecedented coverage locally. 

Prior to his university position, Costa had a long and rewarding career as a broadcast host/journalist with CBC Television and CBC Radio. In 2013, he wrapped up a 23 year stint as anchor of the supper hour news at CBC Saskatchewan in Regina. His work in the field as a documentary producer and his contributions on the newsroom desk earned him four Gemini Award nominations and one Gemini Award win for best television newscast. 


Dustin Ratzlaff

Dustin Ratzlaff is the Founder and CEO of UnINK hosting a workshop on Defining Expectations and Proving Value through Metrics.

As the company’s founder and CEO, Dustin heads a team that thrives on learning about their clients’ passions and delivering results that create impact. Dustin understands the need for an investment to make business sense. By producing smart and transparent campaigns supported by reporting, he can logically explain to clients the results that are tied to their investment.  

Dustin satisfies his curiosity about technology and its influence on social behaviour through his work. He demonstrates his belief in people by being mindful and supportive of others in order to recognize their potential and to grow it. He listens to others carefully and considerately to learn about their values. He observes to understand how their action support their motives.

Andrew Potter

Originally hailing from Northern Saskatchewan Andrew Potter is the Digital Marketing Manager for the Wyant Group located here in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. His role oversees a digital advertising budget in excess of $750,000 yearly. Delivering growth-focused digital marketing across Paid Search, SEO, Paid Social, and Programmatic Display.  

In his presentation - Lead Generation for Under $200 a Month - Andrew will be showcasing many low cost (if not FREE) Fortune 500 Tech marketing tools to improve the customer journey. 

Mona Elesseily

Mona Elesseily

Mona Elesseily is our keynote speaker and will be presenting on The 21 Biggest Online Marketing Mistakes.

Mona Elesseily is the Vice President of Online Marketing Strategy at Page Zero Media where she focuses on online marketing strategy and conversion optimization. In her career, she has significantly improved online marketing performance for brands such as Capital One, Careerbuilder.com and Cathay Pacific. Her marketing strategies have lead to successful company acquisitions by Phillips Inc, SAP and Blackberry to name a few.  

She regularly speaks at Canadian, US and international online marketing events on paid search, conversion optimization and integrated online marketing strategy. Some of the events Mona has recently presented at include Search Marketing Expo (SMX), Ad:Tech, Shop.org and WebmasterWorld (PubCon).  

Mona has written 2 books, is a columnist for Search Engine Land. She also writes for The Huffington Post, IMedia Connection and the American Marketing Association. She was a technical editor of Search Engine Marketing, Inc.: Driving search traffic to your company’s website by Bill Hunt & Mike Moran.

Shaina Lynden (Emcee) 

Shaina Lynden is a member of Yellow Quill First Nation and is currently in her 13th year as an officer with the Saskatoon Police Service. 

Shaina's passion for people and community involvement led to her co-founding Ryde YXE Cycle Studio on Broadway in 2016, which quickly established itself as a community hub. In January 2018, Ryde expanded to a second location in Saskatoon in City Park.

As a police officer, entrepreneur, Lululemon ambassador, Ryde instructor and mom, Shaina is a role model in many ways and continues to challenge herself and others to live with gratitude, positivity and the drive to create what you want to be a part of.
